Gakar Rinpoche

Gakar Rinpoche was born in 1990 in Sheri village in Dolpo, just below Dhaulagiri mountain known as a terma mountain of Guru Rinpoche. He was born as The great-grandson of the famous Dzogchen master Hungtram Rinpoche Yeshe Gangshar Rangdrol. Six months after his birth, his parents brought him to Kathmandu for pilgrimage, and they took the child to Previous Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche for the name-giving ceremony.

 

Rinpoche foretold that the boy would benefit sentient beings and the teachings of Buddha in the future, so he should be raised with great care in a virtuous environment. Rinpoche named the boy Rigdzin Wangdu, that means "magnetizing awareness holder."...

⁠Hungtram Dhungzin Namkha Dorje Rinpoche

Venerable Hungtram Dhungzin Namkha Dorje Rinpoche was born in 1981 in the remote Dolpo region of Nepal into the distinguished Nub Clan—also known as the Hungtram family lineage—renowned for its ancient yogic and spiritual heritage.

 

A respected Buddhist teacher and accomplished scholar, Rinpoche is the present throne holder (Dungzin Tripa) of the sacred Hungtram Nyingma Lineage, a profound tradition rooted in centuries of realized masters. From an early age, he was nurtured in the Dharma by his grandfather and great-grandfather, the eminent Hungtram Rinpoche Yeshe Gangshar Rangdol, receiving blessings, instructions, and transmissions that were passed down with unwavering devotion…

⁠Vidhyadhara Hungtram Rinpoche

Vidhyadhara Hungtram Rinpoche (Gyurmed Ngedon Wangpo) was born in 1982 in the Dolpo region of Nepal into the distinguished Buddhist family lineage of the Nub Clan known as Hungtram. 

 

His early education was with his grandfather, Hungtram Rinpoche. At the age of nine, he entered Shechen Monastery for his studies, graduated from the Shechen Philosophical College 2006 (Shedra), earning the highest degree of Khenpo, and was enthroned by H.H. Kyabje Shechen Rabjam Rinpoche at Shechen Monastery in 2012, who named him Vidhyadhara on May 2, 2024, during Rangjung Pema Nyingtik Drupchod in Portugal...
